This presentation reviews data that has been compiled by a sports nutritionist who works with tennis players from amateur to tour level. Tennis players’ nutritional intake of a variety of nutritional supplements will be overviewed to include: energy bars, drinks, vitamins and herbs. Pros and cons of using supplements will be reviewed in light of current international doping guidelines. Current recommendations for safe intake levels of these products will be overviewed.
