Tip:

The serve is one of the most important shots in the game of tennis, and for many players is one of the most challenging shots to develop and master. The serve involves several parts and each part needs to flow into the next in order for the execution to be smooth and effortless. For that reason, teaching the serve in progressions can make the learning process much easier.

This week’s tip features USPTA Elite Professional and former ATP player Jeff Salzenstein discussing the racquet drop. He emphasizes the importance of having a relaxed arm during the serve and shares a few progression drills that will help your players improve this aspect.
